GATHERINGS

Our gatherings always involve a mix of work and play. Part working bee; part weekend away on a beautiful property; and part meeting and spending time with like-minded people. They are an important part of looking after Commonground and keeping our community connected.

HOW DO GATHERINGS WORK?

A variety of jobs will be available over the weekend and people can choose what to do based on their interests and skills. Accommodation will be provided, you can also camp on the property. Meals are communal and we ask you to bring food to share over the weekend. If you can’t bring food you can pay $20 a day to cover costs. Evenings are spent relaxing, enjoying good conversations, games and music. Gatherings are of course kid friendly.

WHAT TYPE OF work is NEEDED?

Jobs can include gardening, weeding, firewood collection, sewing, and property maintenance. Let us know if you have a specific trade or talent as we may be able to put that to use!
